tip of the day

There is only one perfect posture for each golfer and that position is unique to each golfer. So what is the key and how do we find this position? Well the key is not so simple but basically boils down to the following: The body needs to be in a position that allows the golfer to transfer his body weight onto his back foot i.e. behind the ball, without having to use his arms or the golf club to maintain his balance.
Why do I say this? Well simply put, if we use our arms or the golf club to maintain our balance there is very little chance of keeping the club traveling in a straight line towards the target. Add to this the fact that if we do not shift our body weight behind the ball we cannot create effortless power. |
